Surely no one will resent the fact that Canadians puff themselves up on one day

of year .. July 1, 2022.

We hauled two lawn chairs, two umbrellas, and 2 cameras down to Port Credit this

morning.  Parked ourselves and waited for the parade.  When it arrived we were 

not disappointed.  Lots of Canadians…all ages, all ethnicities, all smiles paraded before 

us.

We tried to capture images of our land.  The people who love it.  Hopefully these pictures

will convey the joy we felt.

POST SCRIPT:  A WALK TO OUR CAR — SPLENDOUR ON OUR STREETS

July and everything seems green and red and gold and yellow and purple….the maple leaves are green but

they will change to red and gold.  Our flag knows that.

Sadly, next year at this time one of these homes will be gone…chopped up an Excavating Machine’s teeth.  Look for the white sign.  There will be a public

meeting  to save the home no doubt.  But in my humble experience big money always wins.  Progress is relentless.
