ONLY 2 CAME TO PORT CREIT STREET PARADE THIS YEAR — MARJORIE AND ME – 2025

For the last ten years we have plopped ourselves in front of 

te Port Credit Liquor store to watch the parade.  There was no parade this year…Instead there was music and dining several blocks west of our
 lonely vigil. No one told us.

Good Lovely Wednesday Morning to All!

Today, our reliable diarist seems to alter his usual course as he emulates Donald with photographic evidence of crowd size that is quite misleading. 

Downtown Port Credit was hopping yesterday! Many – MANY! – people showed up for their annual Canada Day parade as 
this picture, taken by his neighbour, reveals:

As well, he leads us to believe that, after their lonely vigil on an empty street, he and Marjorie sadly wandered back home finding an equally abandoned giant frog along the way. They kindly gave it a new home in their backyard.

“And they all lived happily ever after. The end.”

No! No! No! That is not the end!

Marjorie has also sent along the final photo, this one of impressive beach art which added to the celebration our national 
day. Is that Alan way off in the distance? There were certainly no crowds there either. Or were there?


And now, today – right now – Canada’s future really begins.

The sweltering heat will usher it in as it returns this afternoon. Take care.
