Eureka!! The new greenhouse plastic tarp and metal supports held… despite
a load of two feet of snow. We expected a collapse.
Next project was to shovel out lane and get a five ton truck loaded for a
movie set. “Buy shovels and get all set people you can.Gloves absolutely
needed as temperature will freeze fingers.”
We also had to shovel a pathway to the Quonset barn…a trench. This job was
not as joyful as it sounds. Took two days to complete. Anything outside
in the preceding storms was a giant mushroom impossible to reach.
We had five people from the movie and Marjorie hard at work. My fingers were frozen. I was
useless as still using canes and walkers. Too cold to take many
pictures.
Just getting the five ton truck in position for loading was an achievement.
Take a look.
