\u201cA friend gave me your number.  There is a  magnificent <\/div>\n
mare who is  about to be shot.   Irish\u2026excellent pedigree. Perhaps  you can  intervene.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cOh, dear.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cHer name is Mojo.   She is a 12 year old  Irish mare.  Big horse.<\/div>\n
\u201cWhy shoot her?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cShe  has gone lame in one foot.  And she  is 12 years old.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cLots of horses are 12 and  older.  A friend just lost their<\/div>\n
horse at age 32.  Natural  death.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cThe lame leg can get better we think.  The decisions to shoot<\/div>\n
her was  a  tough one for the owners so if you want to rescue her,<\/div>\n
she is yours.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll hitch up the trailer and come down tomorrow.  Let the owners know.\u201d<\/div>\n

her out in one pasture with another mare and they ran like the wind\u2026tails flowing\u2026jumping<\/div>\n
as high as they could.  Pure joy.\u201d<\/div>\n

\u201cNot that noticeable really but will need Vet care I  guess.\u201d<\/div>\n

\u201cAlready booked\u2026may use AI since a stallion on her back quarters might not be a good  idea.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cIs she interested?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cYou bet she is.  We put our gelding in the next pasture  and  all hell broke loose as Mojo and the<\/div>\n
gelding tried to get together.  He charged the fence as  if he was a  stallion.  And she teased<\/div>\n
him the same way.   It was quite a  sight to see.\u201d<\/div>\n

\u201cWe are trying to think of a new name for Mojo\u2026do you have any ideas?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cLots.  I  like the name TRIUMPH for instance.<\/div>\n

\u201cyes.  I could tell by the way she followed me to our horse trailer.<\/div>\n
She  did  not hesitate.  And now she greets me every day..  I think<\/div>\n
she liked the Christmas  balls as  well.”<\/div>\n
