Current theory is that all five have had<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">volcanic origins. &nbsp; If we are now living in the sixth mass extinction (i.e. Climate Change) the evidence<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">seems to point to a human rather than volcanic origin. &nbsp;Perhaps we could do something to impede this<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">sixth mass extinction by changing our habits. &nbsp; We can only rely on ancient oil and coal &nbsp;deposits<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">for energy for a short time longer anyway. &nbsp; They are finite sauces left to us by a once verdant<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">planet. &nbsp; Perhaps we can get global agreement to change the global temperatures. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Electric driven transport is part of the answer. &nbsp;We will run out of oil eventually for sure.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">REMEMBER KRAKATOA<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" apple-inline=\"yes\" id=\"7F725181-0785-468F-BC5B-6C5278936F88\" src=\"https:\/\/alanskeoch.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/krakatoa-explosion.jpeg\" class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Fragments of the island of Krakatau are poking out of the Indonesian ocean between Sumatra and Bali.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">ON August 27, 1883, the Volcano Krakatoa (really spelled Krakatau) exploded blowing 4 cubic miles of&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">volcanic debris 24 miles into the sky then wind carried the smoke around the earth<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">lowering global temperatures.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">A gaping fire filled hole &nbsp;was filled with tons of sea water triggering a second explosion which was heard<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">as far away as Brisbane, Australia. &nbsp;Worse than that was the 120 foot tsunami whose strength&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">was felt as far away as San Franciso. &nbsp;36,000 people died as a result. &nbsp;Half of those killed<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">drowned in the tidal wave. &nbsp;Survivors scrambled up mountainous shorelines to escape\u2026<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">crawled over each other.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">This remans the most explosive volcanic explosion in recorded history<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">120 FOOT TSUNAMI\u2026WAS ESCAPE POSSIBLE?\u2026SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" apple-inline=\"yes\" id=\"920D455D-AB10-42A6-AF1E-47A1E8D04A52\" src=\"https:\/\/alanskeoch.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/article-1203028-05E123E2000005DC-967_964x538.jpeg\" class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Krakatoa explosion was 13,000 time larger than the atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">IF you were living in a sea level village and saw<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">&nbsp;the 120 foot sunami coming there was<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">no hope of survival . &nbsp;Whole islands were stripped bare. &nbsp; If you heard by a stroke of<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">luck the that &nbsp;a monstrous Tsunami was coming, &nbsp; You just might have time<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">to climb 120 feet assuming there was such a cliff or mountain nearby.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" apple-inline=\"yes\" id=\"060FB966-9FA1-49FD-96B5-D8A88C795A0B\" src=\"https:\/\/alanskeoch.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/APTOPIX_Indonesia_Tsunami.JPG.jpeg\" class=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"img\" style=\"width: 1022px;
