AS A MATTER OF FACT, I THINK I\u2019LL TAKE OFF MY PANTS<\/div>\n
AND TAKE A DIP IN LAKE ONTARIO IN  MY UNDERSHORTS<\/div>\n
\u2026SUMMERTIME \u2018 AND THE  LIVING IS EASY \u201c   GETTING MY<\/div>\n
POETS IN A JUMBLE.  HOT WEATHER RESPONSIBLE.<\/div>\n

WHY ARE THE TREES LOSING THEIR LEAVES?  STUPID THING TO DO.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Hot weather.  Must still be summer.   That\u2019s what I think.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
But all the trees think differently.  They are getting ready for winter<\/div>\n
even though the temperature is 20 , even 22 or higher.   Bathing suit weather.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
But the trees are dropping their leaves,,,millions of them fluttering to the <\/div>\n
ground because the trees know their time of green glory\u2026of feeding from the sunshine <\/div>\n
is coming to an end.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
How do they know this?<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
Simple.  The hours of daylight are getting  shorter and shorter.   It does not matter how<\/div>\n
hot it is at high noon.  What matters is when the sun goes down.   Have you noticed?<\/div>\n
Ask the trees in the forest\u2026along side roads\u2026in your back yard\u2026they can tell the time.<\/div>\n

Trees are watching sunsets.  And shivering.<\/div>\n
