We were drifting down the Fifth when a giant spider appeared\u2026immense green thing.  Bigger than a bread basket.<\/div>\n
Then a little blue car passed us and I know what the driver was thinking.  So do you.   He …(must have been a male driver<\/div>\n
because no female would be so stupid)\u2026He thought , \u201cI can rip through the gap between the spiders legs.:<\/div>\n

And that was the last we saw of him or the spider.<\/div>\n

A little further down the road we met a giant centipede that looked really hungry.<\/div>\n
I think it ate both spider and that little blue car.   <\/div>\n

We did not stop to inspect.   Discretion is the better part of valour.<\/div>\n

To whom should we report this tragedy?<\/div>\n

Remember the bit of doggerel about Algie?<\/div>\n

\u201cAlgie met a bear and the bear was bulgy and the bulge was Algie!\u201d<\/div>\n

The little blue car met a centipede that was bulgy and the bulge was the little blue car.\u201d..<\/div>\n

(somehow that version is not as good as the bear version\u2026but it happened.  At least I think it happened.<\/div>\n
The male driver?  That was a guess based on prejudice\u2026.it could have been a female.<\/div>\n
