Friday  August 3,  2018 was arguable the  busiest day  of the year for Khalid Mohiuddin, the General  Manager<\/div>\n
of the  Kanada Comfort Inn.  He had a vIsiting baseball team, a  collection wolfies (weird bunch who  wore wolf  heads and  had fluffy tails), <\/div>\n
a  tour  bus from the<\/div>\n
United States and  dozens  of  tourists.  <\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
Marjorie,  Woody  and  I were  just  part of  the throng.  But we became a problem .  Dogs  can  be  a big problem for hotels.  And  I mean big.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n

This is  Khalid, busy trying  to find places for  everyone in his Ottawa, Ontario Comfort Inn.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
          The motel was super busy when we arrived.  And we became a problem immediately<\/div>\n
          because of Woody, our Labrador dog who had a mind of his own<\/div>\n

\u201cMy dog Woody will  not go upstairs fo our  second  floor room.\u201d,said Marjorie to Khalid<\/div>\n
\u201cI beg your pardon?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWoody will not climb those stairs.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cOther dogs have done  it \u2026 regularly \u2026 surely Woody will do do if  he  sees others?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWoody has his own mind\u2026his own terrors.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cTerrors?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cYes, Khalid, our dog sees the stairs differently.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cHow?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cHere, get down  on your hands and  knees\u2026what do  you see?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cAhah!  I see through the stairs\u2026I see the wall and  a  pit below.  Woody is not a stupid dog.   he knows<\/div>\n
danger.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cHe won\u2019t budge.  Locked his paw  over  the leash\u2026FULL STOP!\u201d<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
\u201cONLY  ONE THING  TO DO  ABOUT THAT, MADAM!<\/div>\n
\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cI  will carry him up and  down the stairs like this.\u201d<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
And  Khalid  Mohiuddin picked Woody  up in his arms  and  carried  him <\/div>\n
upstairs and  downstairs for the two nights of  our  visit.<\/div>\n
