I suppose this is such a small mystery that many readers will cast it aside.<\/div>\n
When the Massey Harris factories were being demolished in west Toronto, Bill<\/div>\n
Parson and I spent a lot of time sleuthing through the ruins.  <\/div>\n
We were there so often that it was assumed we were part of the demolition<\/div>\n
crew\u2026hards hats and heavy boots.   My trucks was just battered enough<\/div>\n
to fit  on the site.<\/div>\n

The factory buildings were ghostly\u2026largely empty.  These markings were on<\/div>\n
the wall of one building.  Some words \u2026Russian? Polish? And two odd<\/div>\n
symbols\u2026a black cross which may have Nazi connections but what is it doing<\/div>\n
on a Canadian factory wall.<\/div>\n

And a very bold rising sun symbol which could be a Japanese flag symbol.<\/div>\n
Very strange indeed.    Old.<\/div>\n

Recent graffiti covered the wall of one building.  Professional graffiti done<\/div>\n
by a movie company.  Meaning unknown.  Perhaps no meaning at all.<\/div>\n
But the black cross and rising sun had a meaning I feel\u2026.perhaps tied<\/div>\n
to the words which were also on the wall.<\/div>\n

Feel there may be a connection to World War Two military production at the factories.<\/div>\n
But still very strange.  Why would managers allow such painting?<\/div>\n
