Reaching<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">for the patch of blue sky above our spruce grove. Let\u2019s say transformed. &nbsp;Look out the window. &nbsp;That is where the tree once stood. &nbsp;Now it still<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">stands nearby loaded with food.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">alan skeoch<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">March 27, 2022<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><br class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Black cherry trees make wonderful furniture as the planks age to a deep reddish colour\u2026warm, inviting, &nbsp;But do not eat the wood or<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">chew the sawdust. &nbsp;Poisonous. &nbsp; The wild cherries, however, are sort of edible.
