(Note to any reader:  All dialogue is  alan talking to himself.  Silly at times, he knows  that\u2026but alan thinks<\/div>\n
the dialogue makes  the pictures  come to life.   Sometimes it may seem  that Marjorie is speaking but<\/div>\n
that is  fake news.  Of course some people never read the dialogue anyway<\/div>\n
so alan  inserts a little test.  In this case the test is  simple, where is  NORTH BEECH?)<\/div>\n

THE gate to North Beach,  Prince Edward County, sported  a huge padlock.   Closed  for the season\u2026abandoned  save for the two cars parked half in the ditch  and  half out.<\/div>\n
At the end  of a Dead  End  road.  Eerie.  Solitary.  <\/div>\n
This  was  not tourist  time.  The sky  was  grey\u2026the wind  was  ferocious\u2026the weather was getting colder by  the second\u2026and the sun  was setting.   Perfect setting<\/div>\n
for adventure.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
\u201cWoody needs  a walk, Alan\u2026I doubt anyone would care if we slipped  under the padlock.  No one here\u2026\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWind is  blowing fiercely\u2026first time this year in winter coats.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWhat is that funny blue thing way up in the sky\u2026looks like  a balloon\u2026half a  balloon\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cHoly Cow, we are not alone\u2026\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cTwo people way  out in the surf \u2026 racing with the wind \u2026\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cSailboarding\u2026\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWith a couple of miles of surf foaming its way to the beech.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cFlying.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cFaster than a speeding bullet as was said in the  comic books\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWell, not quite but fast enough to lift those guys into the sky at times.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWonder who  they are?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWoody will find out\u2026there he goes racing the wind to greet those guys.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cMight be afraid of dogs.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cAny persons  who attach themselves  to a billowing kite in lashing wind will not be afraid  of a dog like Woody.”<\/div>\n

\u201cThe surf here is  breathtaking\u2026seems  to be end  of that Hurricane called Michael\u201d<\/div>\n

\u201clicks a lot\u2026wags tail a  lot\u2026presses his  warm and tender  body against us a lot\u2026but does  not know the meaning of the word bite.”<\/div>\n

\u201cWould  you boys like butter tarts?\u201d  <\/div>\n
\u201cNo\u2026no\u2026ok\u2026Yes\u2026mmmmmmm!\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cSee Alan in the car with furrowed brow\u2026we\u2019ll leave him one tart, OK?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cOK\u2026and here\u2019s  a jar of honey from Quebec\u2026from our own bee hives.\u201d<\/div>\n
